Going Live

All things being equal I'm hoping to go live within the next few days. For a vision of where this kind of technology is going look out for Microsoft's Project Natal. No release date has been given but I'm looking forward to it. The camera is meant to be able to work in variable light conditions and sense depth. Mmmmm depth sensing.

Oh my! I tried entering a search query that I put into google recently. "drag on a sphere". And there it all was complete with equation and calculator. At least for a limited subset of conditions. (see read more)

April 17 2009 - First flight of a heavier than air vehicle within the SimulEditor

It seems a little stange to be posting a news message for the current readership of zero but I wanted to record this event. The lift/drag model is still very basic but what's exciting to me is that these floppy wet sponge aircraft of mine look like they are going to work and that flight will be an interesting addition to the physics model.
